Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors. Should liquids enter the housing, unplug the appliance from the power socket immediately and arrange for it to be repaired by a qualified technician. · Never use the appliance near water, particularly not near sinks, baths or other vessels . The proximity of moisture presents a danger, even when the appliance is switched off. After use, always remove the plug from the power socket. As additional protection, the installation of a faultycurrent protection unit with an activation power rating of not more than 30 mA is recommended for the power circuit in the bathroom. Afterwards, place the settings at a lower level to shape and form the hair. With the enclosed styling jet q, which can be turned into all positions, you can use the air flow directly for styling. If you wish to dry your hair particulary gently, or for the so-called "air-dryed permanent wave", use the finger diffusor i. For this, first of all remove the styling jet q, then replace it with the finger diffusor. Before you comb your hair out allow it to cool, so that the styling retains its form. For cooling the hair you can use the switch "Cool-Shot" u or level 1 of the blower switch y settings. Operation Insert the plug into the wall socket. Switch the Professional Hair Dryer on with the blower level switch t. The Professional Hair Dryer is fitted with two function switches. With these you can separately select the strength of the air flow (Blower switch t) and the amount of heat (Heat level switch y): -3- Attention! First pack and transport the Professional Hair Dryer when it has completely cooled down. Otherwise, it could damage other items. Troubleshooting Should your Professional Hair Dryer not function as expected, first remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes. The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector! Should the appliance still not function when cooled down, consult the service. Cleaning Danger of electrical shock Before cleaning the Professional Hair Dryer, always remove the plug from the mains wall socket. Cleaning the housing To clean the housing, use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soapy solution. Clean the air suction grill e and the filter element w at regular intervals with a soft brush. Fold out the air suction grill e to the rear. Clean the filter element w and the openings of the air suction grill e with a soft brush. Replace the filter element w and close the air suction grill e. Danger of electrical shock Before using the Professional Hair Dryer again after cleaning, it must be completely dry. -4- Warranty & Service The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase date.
